Jamaica Trip

Several months ago some of my crazier fans offered to take me to Jamaica to celebrate the end of the Raised By Wolves series. I'm no fool: I said YES! Since then, names have come and gone from the roster of people planning to go - mainly due to the lovely financial instability we're all experiencing. So right now we have some slots open. If anyone reading this is interested...

1. This is a private tour group. Everyone who goes must be a fan of the Raised By Wolves series - since that's what we're going to be talking about ad nauseum... Well that and M/M fiction, writing in general, Jamaican history, etc... Men and Women are welcome. Right now the party is mostly female. We reserve the right to choose who will and will not be invited to accompany us. We want a small group of mature people who enjoy talking about literature and history.

2. Anyone going needs to be over 21.

3. Anyone wishing to go needs to already have a current passport - or be willing and able to pay expedited processing fees to get one in time for the trip.

4. The trip date is set for May 6th through May 10th. We fly out of Miami on the 6th - we fly back to Miami on the 10th (Yes, that's Mother's Day...) We will be meeting up in Miami on May 5th since we have to be at the airport for the flight down to Jamaica at 9:00 AM. We have a suite reserved in Miami for everyone to crash in the night of the 5th. Everyone's on their own the night of the 10th.

5. We will be staying at an all-inclusive resort in Negril. The price includes the round trip airfare to the airport at Montego Bay from Miami. We have a travel agent arranging these reservations. The price also includes food and beverages. The package price is about $650.

5. That price does not include airfare to and from Miami from your home city. The travel agent we're working with can book that for you, or you can use the online booking services, your frequent flyer miles, whatever. If you check prices, it might be cheaper to fly into another Florida airport and take a rental car down. We might have several people doing that and maybe carpooling can be arranged.

6. Even though the resort is all inclusive, anyone going will need additional cash/credit for shopping, sight seeing, and possibly dining away from the resort.

7. We're planning one major sightseeing trip across the island to see Port Royal - anyone going on that excursion will be expected to pay a share of the rental car and gas. The rental van will only be about $100 - so this isn't huge.

9. One last thing... No, Wolves will not be released by the trip. However, I am offering the opportunity to be a Beta reader for the rough drafts to anyone going. So if you really want to see the story before anyone else...
